When does Term Life Insurance Expire?

I am considering the purchase of a term life insurance policy. When do term policies end?

Term life is temporary coverage that lasts for the length of term you choose to buy.

Most plans offer term coverage for a duration of 5, 10, 15, 20, 25 or 30 years.

So, if you buy a 10 year term policy, your coverage expires when the 10 years is up.

If you outlive the term, your coverage ends. If you pass away during the term of your policy, the death benefit is paid to your beneficiary.

The shortest term is 1 year and the longest is usually 30 years.
