What is Burial Insurance Coverage?

 

It's a type of life insurance policy that provides an amount of life insurance protection that is paid upon the death of the insured person.  

 

Burial insurance plans provide you with the money needed to pay for the cost of your final expenses, incluidng your funeral, burial and memorial service.

 

Most burial plans offer from $2,500 up to $25,000 of coverage.

 

They are easy to purchase, since there's no health exam required and no health questions asked. 

 

And, some insurers offer guaranteed approval if you meet the age requirements. For example, one insurer has guaranteed acceptance for people age 45 to 85. 

 

Burial insurance may be a good idea for someone who does not have life insurance, or does not have the money saved to pay for their final expenses.
