No Physical Exam for Whole Life Insurance

Is it possible to get a whole life insurance policy without taking any physical examination?

Usually, a physical exam is required to purchase whole life insurance coverage. Insurers use the information provided by your health exam to determine your health and how long you are expected to live, in addition to reviewing other related information about your lifestyle.

However, there are life insurance policy with permanent coverage that do not require a health exam.

Some of these life insurance policies are referred to as "guaranteed issue" whole life insurance which means you cannot be denied coverage due to any health condition.

These guaranteed policies have no health exam required and do not ask you any questions about your health.

However, the amount of life insurance available with no exam may be limited.
